Fishing
Fishing is not prohibited in the Vanoise National Park.

Before being stocked, the high lakes contained no fish, so it was not considered necessary to legislate for the protection of fish in the park.

The lakes are stocked on the authority of the Park Director, and fishing is subject to the normal regulations of the Rural Code (during the open season, during daylight hours, line-fishing with a valid permit...).
Special rules may apply (minimum size for certain species). The Conseil supérieur de la Pêche (tel ++ 33 (0)4 79 85 84 94) can provide further information.

If you want to fish inside or outside the central zone of the park: it is not forbidden: the local Tourist Offices will provide information for contacting the associations for fishing and for the protection of the acquatic environment (APPMA), and on the conditions imposed on fishermen.
